The 2019 BMAA Super Expo was held at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre over 3 days in June. It was a fantastic event and a great opportunity for suppliers and customers across the industry to come together in one place.
On the JAI stand we were very excited to launch our custom made to measure awnings service complete with fabric and motorisation fitted. This service exclusively uses the highly regarded BAT Screeny awning system from Italy. Customers may select their fabric from the offerings of a number of suppliers and we will cut, weld and fit the fabric to an awning made to the specified configuration and dimensions. The awning may be fitted with a crank or a motor from brands such as Intro, Somfy and Alpha.
The further awning in this shot was made with the 150mm cassette and 110mm tube. The Screeny 150 is for giants with the capability to span a maximum width of 8 metres!
Shown here is the Screeny GC cable guided system. In this example the Cabrio (no cassette) option was selected.
Another Screeny GPZ zip awning – this one has been made using the clever C side profiles for out of square installations.
Also launched at the show was our new internal cassette with side channels which can be face fit or reveal fit.
The Tear Drop Fabric Wrap Base Bar received a lot of attention. This reflects a growing trend for premium finishing options with roller blinds. The Tear Drop is very popular due to the quality of the finished look as well as the ease of assembly.
Our Fashade fascia or pelmet system is pictured here concealing the roll and componentry at the top of these roller blinds.
Of course we also had our newest componentry on display including our geared chain mechanism and slim double brackets.
Thanks to everyone who visited us on the stand. We loved meeting with you and look forward to working with you on your future projects. Our thanks also to the good folks at Shaw and Ricky Richards for furnishing us with the beautiful fabrics used on the stand.
See you at the next show!
