Intro S and R Series Motors

Introduction to Tubular Motors

All INTRO motors are passed to AS/NZS60335.2.97:2007 Inc A1
All INTRO motors carry a 5 year replacement guarantee.
INTRO motors consist of five main parts.

INTRO motors are tested at 7 testing stations during manufacture and assembly. Motors are tested for longevity by running the motor under the specified weight loadings for 14,000 cycles.
INTRO motors are NOT waterproof, however they can be installed externally with appropriate covering.
The motor has mechanical limit switches which prevents the consumer from accidentally tampering with the limits.
INTRO motors are not continuously rated. They have a thermal cut out switch to prevent overheating after 4 minutes of continuous running.
Motors are designed for use with 240V only, therefore a licensed electrician is a MUST for all electrical wiring.
While upgrading to an INTRO motor from a chain mechanism, installation still follows the same simple process.

Available in two sizes, 35mm and 45mm, to suit two tube sizes, 45mm and 55mm. All INTRO S Series motors come complete with a 150mm long lead with a 4 wire plug attached. 4 wire connections leads are also available. All INTRO R Series motors come complete with a 150mm long lead with a 3 wire plug attached. 3 wire connection leads are also available.

Intro Control Systems

The models in our remote control range offer stylish, modern designs coupled with outstanding functionality.

Intro Motors may be controlled using hand held remotes, wall mounted remotes, wired-wall switches and Home Automation systems.

S Series Motors are a 4-wire motor that can be integrated into all Home Automation systems. They can also operate via a hardwired wall switch connected to each motor. For ease and convenience each motor may then be linked to an external receiver and controlled with the use of a hand held remote. Alternativaly, wired wall switches are available with in-built receivers.

R Series Motors are a 3-wire motor equipped with an in-built receiver. They may be operated remotely via a wall mounted remote or hand held remotes that include single, five, nine or fifteen channel configurations.
